Job Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic for our repair station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on various aircraft.
Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively for sheet metal tasks.
Conduct structural modifications on aircraft including commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.
Maintain and inventory personal tools for job tasks.
Essential Skills
3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with various aircraft sheet metal tasks.
Possession of personal tools that are etched and inventoried.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a P145 repair station.
Knowledge of aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) practices.
Familiarity with structural modifications and sheet metal repairs.
Ability to work with composite materials and installations.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
