Responsibilities You will support the preparation of business portions of program acquisition documentation and demonstrates knowledge of various standard program analysis processes. You will ensure tasks executed are in accordance with appropriation guidelines and programs stay within controls, assist with internal reviews and provide management with a current and comprehensive evaluation of financial execution. You will assist in preparing budget execution plans and documents, review and release financial documents, included contract agreements and task statements. You will participate in activities to analyze, improve and implement fiscal management processes and tools. You will assist in formulating budgets, submit complete and accurate budget consistent with requirement deadlines, present and defend budgets to higher authorities, and prepare and justify impact statements. You will assist with coordinating Life Cycle Cost Estimates and cost modeling analysis for programs, coordinating financial planning and execution to ensure cost estimate realism. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-02pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing business and financial management support, program evaluation and management expertise; assisting in preparing budget execution plans and documents plans; AND formulating budgets supportive of and consistent with program planning submissions. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
