dsm-firmenich are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the Quality team based at their food manufacturing site in Ellingsøy, Norway!. Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Technician will play a critical role in supporting Food Safety and Quality Management on site.

Your key responsibilities
Support Food Safety and Quality Certification Audits on Site (FSSC22000, ISO9001, RSPO, MSC, Organic)
Support customer complaint investigation, Non-Conformance Management and Continuous Improvement on site.
Support Quality Assurance activities such as writing of Operational Procedures, and Specifications, Supplier Non-Conformance Management on site, Internal Audit program and outputs
Be an active member of the Food Safety team
Carry out monitoring activities within the plant (EMP) and perform product release on product results returning from the external laboratory.
Ensure effective communication of Food Safety issues, ensuring understanding by all personnel whose activities have an impact on food safety

You bring
Strong Understanding of Quality Assurance
Qualification in Food Science or Equivalent desirable
Knowledge of Microbiology
Knowledge of internal auditing
Knowledge of ISO 9001; FSSC22000 management systems and HACCP
A good team player with the ability to make decisions under pressure and negotiate technical issues with suppliers and client
Great communication skills for both internal as well as external stakeholders.
Fluency in Norwegian and English language.
