Responsibilities
Responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric consultations for child and adolescent patients. Diagnose and treat psychiatric illnesses, such as eating disorders, mood and adjustment disorders, anxiety, chronic illnesses, and self-injury behavior. Prescribe medications and provide follow-up with patients. Serve as a liaison with family and other physicians/programs.
Qualifications
MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent. Eligible for Minnesota medical license. Board eligibility or board certification in Psychiatry or in final year of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited program leading to board eligibility in Psychiatry.
