Your Opportunity

Our Albany, NY Transportation & Infrastructure team is looking for an Intern for the Summer of 2025.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging from highways and interchanges to bridges and toll plazas.

  • Responsibilities include computer-aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.

  • Assist construction inspection staff with the implementation of contract documents for a city street improvement project.

  • Responsibilities will include field observations, inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and communications.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in an accredited engineering school.

Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program

Typical office environment, with some fields that may include exposure to inclement weather.

Salary Range(s):

  • $21.91 - $32.21 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
