POSITION:
Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics
DUTIES: > Perform physical examinations, records and documents physical findings within the EMR System (NextGen), reviews data along with health history to formulate a definitive diagnosis based on patient s condition. > Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient s clinical problems and healthcare needs > Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. Review and evaluates treatments to determine success > Collaborate with integrated healthcare team to determine a comprehensive patient healthcare plan > Refers patient to other healthcare practitioners for consultations or specialized health resources for treatment as appropriate > Educate on treatment or healthcare needs to patient and patients family > Assist in the oversight of support personnel with clinical guidance > Performs other duties assigned by employer from time to time that are commensurate with professional services, normally and customarily, performed by a physician.
REQUIREMENTS: > Must be board certified/eligible MD/DO with experience working in a clinical setting > Current unencumbered State of Colorado Licensure > Current unrestricted DEA License > Successfully complete a background check and drug testing > Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desirable but not required
WAGE:
$200,000.00 - $250,000.00 Salary/year
JOB SITE: Alamosa, Colorado
