Summit County is recruiting for
School Van Drivers
Position Description:
- School van drivers are needed.
- For daily transportation of students to and from school.
Hours:
- 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
- Average of 5 hours per day.
Salary:
- $15/hr.
- Weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely and
courteously.
- Follow safety rules as students board and exit vans or cross
streets near van stops.
- Keep van interiors clean for students.
- Maintain order among students during trips to ensure safety.
- Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled
neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules.
- Report any van malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Drive multi-passenger vehicles to transport students between
neighborhoods, schools, and activities.
- Available for paid in-service van driver training; CPR, and First
Aid.
Requirements
- Minimum driving experience 3+years
- Driver's license

? Good driving record
- Ability to pass
? Background Check - FBI / BCI
? Drug Screen
- Minimum age 21 and no felony.
