NOTICE OF VACANCY:
DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
Type of Appointment: Probationary, 12 month
Certification: Valid New York State Certification as a School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA)
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 based on experience
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in public education at the elementary or secondary level and administrative experience in technology services, preferred;
• Experience in leadership and coordination of technology services in instruction, assessment, business, personnel, cybersecurity, data security and privacy, and department administration.
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data;
• Knowledge and experience in the administration of professional development, data management, program evaluation and improvement, as related to educational technology;
• Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
• Successful experience working with teachers, administrators and staff;
• Experience with district planning models (eg. strategic planning, CDEP) and program evaluation models.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in audio-visual production
• Thorough understanding of the NIST cybersecurity framework
• Experience managing K-12 communications and social media
