BAE Systems Quality Inspector II in Aiken, South Carolina

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking aQuality Inspector IIto support its manufacturing operation.

In this role as a Quality Inspector, you will use your proven knowledge and experience in measuring parts with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages. You'll inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. And as required, you will provide auditing support to shop floor operations.

This position supports on-site on the 1st Shift, 6:30 AM to 03:00 PM.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Typically requires a High School diploma or the overall equivalent;

  • Must have experience working with Quality Inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, and height gages;

  • Versed in Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T);

  • Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints;

  • Proven attention to detail;

  • Able to support on-site, 1st Shift.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM);

  • Expert level experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T);

  • Knowledgeable in weld inspection;

  • Familiar with Faro Arm/Laser Tracker.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41200 - $65900

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
