Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will DoPratt & Whitney Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) s seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Engineer II to join our world-class organization. CDS is a multi-disciplinary, systems engineering organization focused on the development and certification of military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems. CDS is responsible for all aspects of engine control and diagnostic systems, and sub-systems, starting from concept definition and development up to test and field support. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to control dynamic mechanical, power, and electric systems.Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software or systems requirements and designs.Conduct iterative prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs.Perform software verification including regression analysis, test case development, test script development and evaluation of results.English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.Must be a U.S. Citizen.
