The first Hotel Indigo launched in Australia, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets comprises 145 guest rooms, a lively restaurant- Market & Meander, and the iconic rooftop bar- Merrymaker, with panoramic views of Adelaide, we are setting the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails!
The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We’re looking for a Kitchen Steward to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens.
A little taste of your day to day
Operating dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitise crockery and kitchen implements
Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators, ensuring everything is organized and properly stored.
Assisting the chef and kitchen team in basic food preparation including cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients.
Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.
Use other safety, emergency equipment, plant materials, tools and substances provided in the workplace as directed or as required in safety procedures.
Worked with the kitchen team to provide excellent service to our guests.
What we need from you:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other team members
Exceptional attitude and ‘can do’ mindset
Ability to follow instructions as and take initiative when required
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Must have working rights for Australia
