Avera is currently seeking Nurse Practitioner (NA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
Assumes the responsibility for the provision of primary care and medical management of patients at the clinic and hospital under the direction and supervision of a physician.
Education/Experience
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.
Master’s or Doctorate Degree is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
An active CNP license is required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure is required.
Federal & State DEA certification is required for South Dakota and Iowa employees.
Federal DEA cerification only is required for Minnesota and Nebraska employees.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
8:00am - 5:00 pm
Occasional call time (Weekend call on the weekend that pulmonologist is at ASL)
