Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is looking for a full-time, FLSA-Exempt Swim & Fitness Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fitness centers, pools, and member locker rooms. Our swim and fitness facilities are open 7 days a week, so the typical schedule for this position varies. We pay our Swim & Fitness Operations Manager a competitive salary of $45,000 to $50,000 annually based on experience. You will also have the opportunity to earn commission pay of 5 personal training or group exercise hours per week. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SWIM & FITNESS OPERATIONS MANAGER

As a Swim & Fitness Operations Manager, you manage the day-to-day operations of our fitness centers, pools, and member locker rooms. This includes implementing club rules, policies, and safety and security protocols. Using your leadership skills, you are also able to effectively manage our large staff and schedule. You recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate the performance of your team. You are also responsible for fitness desk operations which include appointment booking, POS transactions, and timely reconciliation of discrepancies for member services. If challenging situations arise, you are sure to handle them with patience and professionalism, always ensuring a positive member experience.

With your eye for detail, you inspect our swim and fitness equipment and facilities, taking immediate corrective action as necessary to make sure everything is properly maintained. To ensure that we have everything we need, you manage inventory and coordinate the requisition, purchase, delivery, and storage of supplies and merchandise. Daily, weekly, and monthly, you complete timely and accurate reports. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is a requirement.

  • 3+ years of Fitness Center management experience.

  • 2+ years of pool management experience and relevant Aquatics accreditation (CPO/AFO).
