What do you contribute?

With our customer-ready products for traction converters, motors, gearboxes, control systems and on-board networks, as well as in combination with bogies, pantographs and brakes, we ensure the movement of locomotives, regional trains and high-speed trains.

  • In your new role, you will ensure technical, commercial and logistical clarifications and advise our customers. You will be actively involved before and during the offer phase through to the award of the contract.

  • You will create technical solutions for the powertrain of rail vehicles, plan offers in terms of costs and take deadlines and production options into account.

  • During offer preparation, you will be in close contact with our engineering and development departments, our plants in Germany and abroad and the regional units.

  • You will present concepts for the supply of powertrains (e.g. technical and logistical solutions) to our internal customers and negotiate them.

  • Furthermore, you identify and evaluate project risks and generate measures to avoid them.

  • If necessary, you will take over the execution of the developed offers as project manager.

What do you bring along?

  • The foundation of your success is a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, alternatively mechanical engineering or industrial engineering with appropriate technical expertise.

  • You have several years of professional experience in technical sales and, ideally, have already gained experience in engineering, project work or proposal management.

  • Additionally, you are familiar with electrical drive technologies and ideally have expertise in railroad technology and on-board power supply.

  • You are proficient in multi-project management of several parallel bids; intercultural experience is an advantage.

  • You are also flexible and willing to occasionally travel worldwide if required.

  • As we operate in an international environment, you are able to communicate fluently in German and English.
