As the Area Sales Manager for Gas Turbines within Sulzer Gas Turbines EMEA, you will set sales objectives for your designated area, including targets for order intake, gross margin, and sales. You will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our gas turbine services and products across the EMEA region.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve order intake, gross margin, and sales targets.

  • Engage with customers directly and manage sales channels through agents and within Sulzer.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Draft and negotiate profitable contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.

  • Plan and execute PR activities, including customer training, fairs, and conferences.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Proven experience in sales within the gas turbine industry or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, agents, and internal teams.

  • Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans.

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Willingness to travel as required within the EMEA region.

Location: This is a home-based role. Ideally, applicants should be based in the UK or the Netherlands, but we are open to candidates from anywhere within the EMEA region.
