About You

As an Account Receivable (AR) Specialist, you will be key in managing service contract bookings and supporting various activities within Account Receivable’s function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the service contract management end-to-end process

  • Collaborate with the local sales team to ensure that all service contract terms and conditions are captured accurately in the system

  • Work closely with the billing teams to ensure that data is captured accurately in the billing system to facilitate invoice processing

  • Troubleshoot any issues related to contract booking, collaborating with internal counterparts and customers to resolve and reconcile any discrepancies

  • Generate reports on booked contracts, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making and performance analysis

  • Perform month-end closing activities for Account Receivable including reconciling AR balance, processing any accruals and ensuring accurate recording of revenue

  • Perform the credit assessment for new customers to ensure timely payment and minimize the risk of bad debt

  • Involve and facilitate internal and external audit requirements when necessary

  • Manage any ad hoc project for system enhancement or process improvement to streamline and optimize the contract booking workflow

What you will need to be successful

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines

  • Good knowledge and experience in Contract Management, Accounts Receivable, or financial management is preferred.

  • Experienced in ERP systems such as Service Management System (SMS) and JD Edwards (JDE) would be an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in PowerBI/Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint would be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent organizational skills; Ability to prioritize and meet timelines.

  • Excellent work ethics in managing confidential data

  • A team player, enjoy working in a multicultural and dynamic business environment.
