When a customer selects a product on the Amazon website and proceeds to purchase it by clicking the buy button, it initiates a complex chain of actions within our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). Behind the scenes, our dedicated associates and operators work
ensure that the chosen product reaches the customer efficiently. With hundreds of processes interwoven throughout our supply chain, each order represents a meticulous orchestration of tasks.
The mission of the Experience Enablement Team is to elevate the working experience of our associates and operators within the Fulfillment Centers, ultimately enhancing the journey of fulfilling customer orders. Our focus lies in establishing a robust foundation for consistently exceptional experiences across all Amazon FCs. This entails pioneering innovative, modular solutions that seamlessly integrate software, hardware, and human-robot interactions.
In essence, we're not just streamlining operations; we're crafting an environment where every interaction, from software interfaces to physical tasks, fosters efficiency, satisfaction, and excellence.
Key job responsibilities
Establish KPIs to track impact of programs on associate and operator experience, including cost savings, deployment efficiency, and scalability
Prioritize actions across stakeholders, develop a clear RACI to drive accountability, and ensure focus on the highest value activities
Partner with leaders and engineers across AFT, ACES, Amazon Robotics and Operations to deliver new and innovative products to the customer fulfillment network
Work with stakeholder teams to determine the appropriate escalation, review process, and resolution for delivery blockers
Develop and implement standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms
Own complex planning, resource balancing, and financial modeling for engineering initiatives and programs
Up to 25% travel expected

AFT’s Experience Design team shapes and simplifies the fulfillment center experience by delivering inclusive solutions that work for everyone, from the screen interface to the larger ecosystem in which our products are used.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
